For those jazz fans also interested in jazz photography, a new book has been published by the University of Chicago Press. It was written by Benjamin Cawthra and it is titled: “Blue Notes in Black and White – Photography in Jazz.” An extensive review has been published by the New York Times . The book is not about photography only but also describes the cultural and social context of the era in which jazz flourished as a new form of art. The review is available on The New York Times website.
